How to Stand Tall in a Sea of Social Images

Social media has become second nature to social media marketing new yorkmany of us. Tweeting, posting, and updating comes as naturally as breathing, and we've come to understand—through trial and error—what works and what doesn't.For social engagement, especially in the case of businesses, it's no secret that visual posts receive more user attention and better feedback than blocks of text.In fact, a 2014 study we conducted at Pagemodo of nearly 5,000 user profiles showed that posts with photos received the most retweets on Twitter and likes on Facebook.But with a secret that big out in the open, it's becoming more difficult for marketers and social media managers to cut through the visual clutter and get noticed in a sea of social images.That leaves us asking, What can social media professionals and marketers do to set their images apart from the rest?

Is There a Workaround for Instagram on Computers?

There has to be a workaround, right? Well, sort of. Various tech-savvy folks have come up with workarounds, but they aren't for the technologically faint of heart. One solution is to install a special software program designed to simulate a mobile phone operating system on your computer (called a phone emulator) and allow you to social media marketing pdf run mobile apps that way. An example of an emulator is the BlueStacks App Player. You can try downloading the app and installing it on your computer. Once it's installed and running, search for "Instagram" using the app's search interface and install it on your computer. Then go to your phone or tablet and access your free area on Dropbox, find the photos you want to share, and share them on Instagram. This option doesn't give you access to Instagram's filters for those pictures, but does at least let you share them on Instagram. Plenty of other Instagram-related programs exist for desktop computers (but not specifically for uploading photos to Instagram.)
